She only goes on and on like this with her Mamie; makes me jealous!

Thursday
Look what I made her do
My "short a" moaning resulted in some pretty cute laughs and then a sad pitiful cry. I later learned that her tummy caused the cry and not my moans. She is precious.

A Few First and a Funny
A FIRST TIME TO REALLY HOLD A TOY

A FIRST TIME TO SUCK HER THUMB LOUDLYA FIRST TRIP TO THE LAKE
The smallest floatie swimsuit you can purchase at WalMart is still a little big.
The smallest life vest proved to be a more suitable fit.
She has her very own float, too.
Treading water with Mommy.
Back in the boat.
She decided to nap on the water.
She was so asleep, she didn't wake when I held her up for this precious picture.
She did wake up when I was buckling her in her seat.
And then she wanted to stare at me all the way home.

And then she wanted to stare at me all the way home.A FUNNY
One morning, I returned to our bedroom and saw this...
See if you see anything unusual.
If you didn't see anything, here's a closer look.
If you didn't see anything, here's a closer look.
And an even closer look at J.R.'s beloved Delta with her head still buried under the covers and all four legs sticking out. She didn't move for about thirty minutes. That is funny.

a list of my oddities requested by Amberly
My brain is lacking these days so J.R.* helped me.
1. Everything has to be in its home!* Example: Our laundry baskets are labeled. I wash and dry the laundry. Then I seperate into piles. I immediately put Rebekah's and my laundry up in the closet or the drawer wherever it goes. After many inner struggles, I've learned to accept and even relax with J.R.'s pile of clean clothes on the couch in our room. Amazing, how marriage has relaxed me in some ways. I can sleep with a door open now too.
2. I'm a dirty clean freak.* You have a baby and see what you keep picked up and clean. It is the house or me, and I don't have to look at myself.
3. I spend 3,000* minutes on my phone a month. I think it is way less than that now. You must remember that I talk for me and for J.R. At the end of the day, I get his left over words and I just have to use them.
4. I remember where and when I got practically everything I own. Like my "yaga" shirt I wore last week, I definitely got it in the seventh grade ('94) from UNDERGROUND at NorthPark mall. I also still have ALL my old "diaries" starting in the fifth grade ('91). I used to grade my days. The day got an "A" if noone picked on me. Such a geek!
5. I'm horrible at math. Very, very horrible. I still count on my fingers and if I'm not using my fingers I use touchpoints.
6. I like to paint at midnight.* I like to do my own thing when the rest of the house is asleep and therefore cannot interrupt me. I'm just a night owl.
7. I've got athletic legs but I'm not an athlete.*

Yup!
Here is our little cuddly bear on her teddy bear skin rug, pretty cute.

And here is a video proving that Rebekah is no longer a baby blob,
but a mini human who touches things on purpose.
Rebekah already knows her Grandmother is awesome.
I really enjoy spending time with Grandmother, Momma, and Rebekah.
It is neat being in the "mother" circle with GM and Mom.
Rebekah and I spent 2.5 days in Jackson at Mom's house. It was so great. This is a picture of us leaving. Mom thinks my hair looks like polygamist sect member. This is a new one for me. I've gotten Pentacostal and Amish before.
We had a lovely Sunday evening out at Paul B. with the Giles and Mauls. Ty and Rebekah are becoming more interested in each other. Ty was really interested in Beks rattle.
Our most recent family picture. Imagine how cute we'd be if we put some effort in it!
And now a random thought:When I was little Mom drank Crystal Lite tea. I remember sipping it and be repulsed. Now I drink it every once in a while and I like it solely because it reminds me of my childhood.
