This week was a blur, next week might be too.

All the babies at our house creeping...
Sweet puppy breath kissesLuke came over to see the puppies.

They liked him.
Rebekah likes to grab her Daddy's face.
She is saying "Dada" ALOT these days. This is her first Christmas present.
They had a secret Santa party at the sitter's.
She played with it all the way home.
Getting squeaky clean.
Bed head after a three hour nap.
Following Gravy out the door (well trying to anyway).
We are at home enjoying a lazy weekend even though two of us are sickly.
Rebekah and I start a trip tomorrow(12.21) to meet these lovely girls in Greenville, MS.
We'll have Christmas with the Bakers in Jackson on 12.24,
Christmas Day lunch at our house, Carter Christmas at our house on 12.27, and then a few days of nothing before our 4th anniversary. Busy bees.

All in an afternoon

See this mirror thingy that throws reflections of light all over our yard.
See what the reflections of light do to Gravy.
That silly dog chose reflections over playing catch with RG and me.
Precious rolling baby.

Video by baby.Adorable scooting baby.
Excited over a "new to me" toy baby.

I fed myself my entire supper while Gravy watched baby

Watermelon on 8.17.08

My good encouraging sweet friend, Martha, gave us a huge Rebekah sized watermelon a few weeks ago. So on that particular Sunday night, when RG was refusing to eat her squash, there was watermelon.

After she scared me by biting off chunk after chunk of watermelon, I put her chunks in the thing I affectionately call the masher. Its easier on a new momma's heart. She liked it just as much and probably better since she could feed herself.

Full and bathed in the juice, sweet babe lets Gravy have a sniff.

Squeaky clean.

Kim got me, Crystal you're "it"

Kim tagged me, so I am supposed to tell you all 6 things about me.

1. My least favorite chore is emptying the dishwasher. I get it from my momma.

2. I can be on time for work, be there and be productive for the day, but I get the most done in the 30 minutes after everyone else goes home.

3. Rebekah is sick and asleep. She wakes up, cries, and goes back to sleep. Its easier for me to just hold her and feel her breath than to keep "running" to her room.

4. One Sunday night, I was spending quality time with Gravy (a.k.a. the most wonderful dog in the world). We were practicing her commands, cleaning her ears, etc. I go to trim a big knot of fur on her ear and I cut her ear. I cried.

5. One of my favorite people in the world will be 11 on October 16. He was in my class two years ago. Daily I wish he was still in my class. We got "murried" on a field trip to Landrum's Country.

6. I am thinking about making my own household cleaners.

TAG, Crystal. You're it.

A Typical Mommy Blogger Post

With a child this cute, you can't blame me for loading most every post with picture after picture! Bath time in her little tub with 2 of our 805 rubber duckies
Stylin' with her "mohawk"
Pretty sure she wants me to get the camera out of her face
Chilling out at Mamie's
Rebekah and I went to Jackson for two nights to escape J.R.'s cold germs.
She didn't want us to hold her at all. She just wanted to be alone with her hands.

She liked hanging out with Joy. I love this picture of two of my favoritest people. I can only hope that Rebekah will grow up to have a friend as good to her as Joy is to me.
Rebekah loves morning time with her Mamie.
On our way to meet Amberly for lunch at Newk's.
Saturday at Home
My little angel watching me do laundry, wishing she could help (I'm sure!)

On the Lake
We did have a short stint in the water involving the entire family, which of course includes the dogs. Gravy likes the water. Delta is not much of a water fan.
I'm surprised she even drinks water.
Our view
J.R. in his element!!!
