She likes her books from DeaDea
There are so many people for her to see
Her favorite gift: the wrappings
She had developed an apetite for paper of any kind.
Just some quality time with Dolph

The Carter clan dressed to impress.
Did it work?
Merry Christmas Eve with Mamie at Granddaddy and Grandmother's. Her Momma's heart captured in one picture.
She is so pumped to eat mush, while everyone else gets real food.

And I finally got to see her...

The following picture was taken in March 2006 and that was the last time I got to see Annette. At that time she was about 3 mos. pregnant with her daughter, Bay. It had been about a year since the last time I'd seen her because she had to go and move to Kentucky, and that is farther than a weekend driving trip away. But this picture was taken just last week! I finally got to see her after almost three years!!! She and hers drove down to Greenville to see family for Christmas, so Rebekah and I drove up to meet them. It was lovely. And I finally got to meet Bay(2) and June (1)! And they got to meet me and Rebekah.
I'm not super sure the girls enjoyed the visit, but we moms certainly did.
They ate together and had very serious important discussions.
And June teased Rebekah with some beads.
Annette, Rebekah and I went to visit the Lewis family at their new house. Rebekah and I hadn't seen them since September. They are still quite wonderful. This is a picture of Robert and Rebekah being the smartest children in the world.
Rebekah really liked this toy tractor and the noises it made.
Our trip to see Annette lasted all of 5 hours and was very worth much worth the drive. I'm hoping it won't be another 3 years before we can visit face to face again.

An introduction...

I'd like to introduce you to....

Wilson

Franklin

Collins,

the one and only Wendy's Square burger prince of my heart.
Well, it is really a second introduction. His first being by his Mama over at her place.

I finally got to meet my little Squareburger prince and he is more precious than I'd imagined and neither mine nor his Mama's pictures do him justice. Though their Christmas card/birth announcement was quite beautiful.

And then there is this picture of his sweet Mama and me, too. I painted the prince a picture (click the link and his is the top one) and got the chance to deliver it the last time I was in Jackson. And I even got to hold his preciousness for a loooooooong time. I stole him away from his Aunt Brookie. I love him, you will too.

Lewis Lights in Purvis, MS

If you live in our area, it is a must to take the time during December to go out and see the LEWIS lights. (I googled "Lewis lights Purvis, MS" and it pulled up 63,000 results). So click here or here or here to see some other locals' pictures of the lights or just enjoy few pictures. We went on a Friday night with the Giles and Mauls. It was cold and we were bundled up. Rebekah really enjoyed just hanging out with me.

Merry Christmas!

We hope you had a lovely Christmas. We were busy busy bees.
We began the celebrations last night in Jackson with the Baker family. Rebekah finally met my cousins Rachel and Jessie. Rebekah got lots of attention and several wonderful gifts. She enjoyed the tissue paper, empty bags, and boxes the most.
Our second event was Christmas lunch at our house with Great Grandmother & Granddaddy, Mamie, and Aunt Hayley. Rebekah got even more gifts; lots of books from her Momma and Daddy and a few more books from Mamie.
Then we drove to Laurel to see Oma and KaaKaa. Rebekah got even more presents (Did you know KaaKaa is magic and he can fit a pony in a box?) And we took a Christmas ride in the golf cart. Rebekah giggled every time we took a bump.
Our last Christmas day event was supper with Pops at our house. Rebekah was very glad to see him. He makes her laugh. He brought her a swing and she checked every part of it out already. She has a thing for straps. He also brought her present from Aunt Liz and Darian. A walker/stroller, she played with it alot.
It is now 9:40. Rebekah and her handsome Daddy are sleeping peacefully and I'm up avoiding stacks of dishes and thank you cards. I hope you all had a beautiful day and I leave you with this Christmas card picture (actual Christmas event pictures will be posted later, promise)
